If you have your basic diving certification from another recognised diver training agency and you want to further your diving knowledge and experience, the PADI advanced course in Tenerife is ideally suited to you.
PREREQUISITE:
PADI open water certificate or equivalent rating with another training agency
ADVANCED DIVER
Two Days
COURSE OUTLINE.
The course takes two days and involves five open water dives at your choice of Tenerife dive sites. Two compulsory dives; Deep diver and Navigation diver, then three chosen dives from the list below:
Boat diver. Wreck diver, Search & Recovery, Fish ID, Peak buoyancy, Drift diver, DPV Project AWARE, U/W naturalist, and Multilevel diver
After reading the relevant short chapters from the advanced diver manual, you must complete the five Knowledge reviews to be checked by your instructor. There are no exams and the dive course is less informal than the open water diver course.
When you have completed your three elective dives and the two core dives you will receive your PADI advanced open water certification, which allows you to dive to a depth 30 metres.
Spending time in the water, learning new techniques & procedures and taking your skills to the next level, is what this programme is all about.

ADVENTURE DIVER
One Day
Your Tenerife adventure diver course has three dives and takes one day dependent on your choice of Tenerife course dives. Like the advanced diver course, it’s all about getting you in the water to increase your diving skills and knowledge. Allowing you to confidently and safely pursue your scuba diving interests, be it photography or wreck diving or just learn new skills and interests that you never new you had.
The great thing about this program is that you can upgrade to the Advanced Diver certification anytime in the future with any PADI dive company worldwide.

Boat diver. Wreck diver, Search & Recovery, Fish ID, *U/W digital photographer (DUP) *Videographer, Peak buoyancy, Drift diver DPV, Project AWARE, U/W naturalist and Multilevel diver.

PADI recommend that if you have not been diving for more the 12 months, you should refresh your diving skills in the swimming pool before you attempt to dive in the open ocean. So if you have not been diving for a while then this scuba tune up is the perfect starting point to get you back into the swing of things.
Half day pool based review of all the skills you learned in your open water course; mask clearing, regulator removal etc and a knowledge quiz to help you remember all the important theory of diving.
You need to be certified as a Scuba Diver by PADI or any another recognised training organisation.
TENERIFE ADVANCED DIVING COURSES
In your open water course you learned the basics of scuba diving, but where do you go from here?
1. You can continue as an open water diver gaining experience as you go along, diving to 18 metres on some great reefs but missing a lot of the deeper dive sites and most of the good wreck dives.
2. You can take your advanced diver course in Tenerife and not miss anything, gaining valuable experience of deep diving and navigation, under the watchful eye of your PADI diving instructor, who will give you more knowledge, hints and tips in the five dives of the advanced open water diver course, than you would learn through trail and error in your next 20 dives.
