PADI DIVING COURSES

Three or Four days
This is a typical schedule
Day one: Morning at our Tenerife dive centre classroom for sections 1/3 of the PADI Go Dive manual & DVD, quizzes 1/3. Afternoon at the pool for confined water dives 1/3, where you will start to learn all the skills needed to become a confident diver.
Day two: Morning in the classroom for dive theory sections 4/5 from the PADI Go Dive manual & DVD, quizzes 4/5 and final exam. Afternoon at the pool for confined water dives 4/5.
Day three: Time to put your learning to the test with your first open ocean dives at one of our favourite Tenerife dive sites, practicing what you learned in the pool and allowing you plenty of time to enjoy your first glimpse of the underwater world
Day four: Qualification day. Final open water dives to practice more of the skills you learned in the pool.
Who can do it: Anyone from 15 years old in good general health, who can swim 200 metres and tread water (float) for ten minutes can take the course. 10 to 14 year old are able to take the junior Open water diver course.
The course consists of the first three elements of the open water manual & DVD, plus two open ocean dives, and can be easily upgraded to the to the full PADI open water diver, anytime in the future.
Certification Limitations:
You can only dive to 12 metres depth, unable to freely rent air tanks to dive with a buddy and you can only dive with a professional divemaster or instructor.
Day one consists of written knowledge reviews from the Go dive manual & DVD, three multi choice quizzes in a morning classroom session, then an afternoon swimming pool session.

If you started your open water dive course at home, you can finish it here in Tenerife no matter how much of the course that you have completed. All we need from you is a referral form, signed and dated by your instructor stating which portions of the course that you have completed.
The PADI Open water course is a state of the art diver education package that is recognized by educators worldwide to aid students to learn quickly and retain the knowledge needed to become a diver. Aimed at getting you in the water and diving at the earliest possible moment, your scuba diving course in Tenerife consists of five written knowledge reviews from the PADI Go Dive manual & DVD, five confined water (pool) training dives, four multi choice quizzes, final multi choice exam and four open water ocean dives. Taken in a relaxed friendly environment, the course takes three or four days to complete, dependent on your learning preferences and ends with you receiving your PADI open water diver card, allowing you to rent equipment and dive anywhere in the world with another qualified diver to a depth of 18 metres.
